For those who missed out on the entire news (or if you just want a quick reminder): Pokon Fire Red & Leaf Green are remakes of the original Pokon Red & Green for the Gameboy.

The scene is set in the Kanto district and before leaving on your quest to become the Pokon Master you'll get to choose from the 3 basic Pokon: Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander.

The games will feature some new stuff compared to the originals:Full color. Since the game runs in an updated engine from Pokon Ruby & SapphireLink-up options with Pokon Ruby & Sapphire: trade or battle with friendsLink-up options with Pokon Colosseum for the GameCube
