The tenth mailbag already. Almost makes me cry...

einsk8 is definately back from his holidays:

No screens of thps5 yet? thanks

and later he added

Hi again. I just read your article about the video convertblabla and it maked me think of the multiple rumors I read (past) that we will "soon" read some movies with our gba by just pluging our movie cartidges like a gba game. Will we have the possibility to watch some (complete) movies with our well-loved gba? Or shall we still spend over 600$ to be able to watch some dirty movies at school? thanks for your time

Well Einsk8, about your first question (the THPS5 screens)... I assume you mean Tony Hawk's Underground. And still, no-one was able to tell me anything about the game (or to show me something). It won't stay like this, because the releasedate is nearing. About your second entry, the movie-cartridges. There are several companies busy creating cartridges which will hold episodes or movies: 4Kids Entertainment and Pocket PC are just two examples. Most cartridges can hold 'only' 75 minutes of play. Therefor, it won't be possible to put an entire movie on a cartridge. For this, there are 2 solutions:
  1. use 2 cartridges, or
  2. Don't do movies, just TV-episodes and cartoons
I wouldn't count on 'dirty'-movies, because Nintendo will surely try to stop that content available on their systems.
Next one was J7Wicked:

Hello.

Hello to you too, J7Wicked! It's always nice to see that people just want their name on a website, so they come up with the weirdest inputs. ;)
Last one for this week... Julian:

Hi, I only wanted to ask, if you would take our Site to your Affiliates. We are a news GBA Online Magazine: GBAPlanet.de We would take your button in our List too, of course. I hope that you answer soon.

Cya, Julian

Well Julian, I think we arrange an exchange of buttons/links. But why link to something if you can join it? In our most recent poll, I asked the readers whether they'd like to see more reviews on this site. With university and work, I don't have much time to review much games. I'm therefor looking for some people who can get their hands on GBA games, and are willing to review those games (or maybe even write previews on unreleased games). Of course, this offer doesn't only apply for the GBAPlanet-crew, but for anyone who reads this. So if you're interested, write an email to reviewer@gba.n64europe.com.
