The story follows the direct to video feature Disney?s The Lion King 3 and ties in with the award-winning classic Disney?s, The Lion King.The player takes turns at controlling Timon and Pumbaa in 3 modes: solo, collaborative and team up. By mastering each character?s unique abilities the player will be able to overcome obstacles and challenges throughout the various levels. During this process he/she will relive the fun and excitement of the story while playing and unlocking special challenges and movie clips.
