According to Spong, Nintendo is planning a new type of packaging material for the Gameboy Advance games: DVD packaging. The new packaging is said to hit the shelves in Europe and the US in time for this Christmas, with a feasibility study currently underway in Japan.

Note: this new packaging could not be confirmed by Nintendo BeNeLux.
