Tapwave's handheld 'the Helix' will from now on be called 'the Zodiac'.

The Zodiac will be available in two different versions: one with 32MB of RAM and another one with 128MB. The two Zodiacs will be priced at $299 and $399, respectively. Both of the Zodiacs will feature a 480 x 320 colour display and Bluetooth technology for wireless multi-player gaming and Internet access using a mobile phone.

The new handheld will become available in October, just like Nokia's N-Gage. The reason for this, is that Tapwave hopes for commercial benefits of the marketing campaign of the N-Gage.
