According to some German colleagues, Nintendo is planning something for ECTS...

During ECTS (Europe's version of the E3), Nintendo is said to show Mario 128 for the GameCube and a GBA 3D-Chip. Whether these rumours are based on the previous SuperFX chip, on leaking info or just made up, remains unknown. Guess we'll know it next August.

*update* The rumour is based on an article by Computer & Video Games. Their Japanese correspondent told them that "[Nintendo is] seriously looking into the possibility running a European showcase later in the year. If it goes ahead, they will show both Mario 128 and the new 3D chip for Game Boy Advance." Nintendo Europe didn't deny, not clarify the rumour: "We'll be making an announcement a little further down the line about what we'll be doing around London Games Week. There are no plans at the moment to show Mario 128."
