Triton Labs (known from the Afterburners) has something up their sleeves: a wireless linking device called the Stealth Link.

The Stealth Link, compatible with both the GBA and GBA SP, allows you to play multiplayer games without the usual cable. The device was already shown during E3, but was held behind closed doors.

The device is still in prototype stage, but you can expect "similar range to most other wireless 2.4 ghz devices (bluetooth, 802.11b, etc)" acording to Triton Labs.

The Stealth Link is scheduled for Q3 2003, and will be sold for a price between $30 and $40 (with discounts on purchases of 2 or 4 units). Unlike the Afterburner, the Stealth Link will be sold in retail chains throughout the world.
