GBA Mailbag (Issue 1)

Yes ladies and gentlemen, today we bring you the mailbag. The mailbag was opened last week for your questions. Maybe you didn't notice, maybe you knew everything already, but 2 people dared to ask something (Thanks for that)...

Yes ladies and gentlemen, today we bring you the mailbag. The mailbag was opened last week for your questions. Maybe you didn't notice, maybe you knew everything already, but 2 people dared to ask something (Thanks for that)...

First of all, there's Lizzybeaner (who's also a registered member): Q: I was thinking of getting Golden Sun, because I've been looking for a new RPG that is as addictive as The Zelda series. Can golden sun compare to that? I've heard it's a great game. A: Well Lizzy, Zelda and Golden Sun are two different kinds of RPG's. Zelda includes fast reacting by yourself, while Golden Sun is more of the Pokon type of RPG: turnbased choosing which character will perform which attack and who to attack. Golden Sun is by far the best looking RPG on the GBA available and it's very addictive (as is Zelda). It'll hook you up for about 40 hours at least. As I already said in my review on Golden Sun (and JGonspy did on his Golden Sun 2), it's a worthy asset to all RPG fans. I hope this satisfies your question (otherwise, drop an email on gba_world@hotmail.com).

Belen Fatahi also had a question: Q: Hi! Can you tell me some good multiplayer games on GBA? A: Sure we can Belen! My all time favorite Multiplayer GBA games are:

  1. Bomberman (one cartridge needed, for almost endless fun)
  2. Advance Wars (no need to explain this one, I hope)
  3. Zelda - the Four Swords
  4. Mario Kart: Super Circuit and finally
  5. Ecks vs Sever
This was Luke's (a new staffmember) contribution:
  1. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
  2. Advance Wars
  3. Ecks vs Sever
  4. Micro Machines and...
  5. Street Fighter Alpha 3
As you can see, there are many different games, ranging from turn-based strategy, to racing. RPG/Action to 3D shooters. I guess there'll be some game for everybody. Most of these games are available on this site, so head over to the games-section to check them out.
And that's the end of this weeks mailbag already. Only one more thing to say about it: Keep them coming!
