Golden Sun secret password

Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age will be released in the US pretty soon now. Time for me to show you all how to get the secret password to transfer your stuff between the two parts.

First of all, Golden Sun 2 will start a few minutes before the end of Golden Sun. However, you won't be seeying it from Isaac and Gareth's eyes. Instead, you'll be following Craden and Jenna. Isaac and the rest of the gang will appear furtheron in the game, so don't worry just yet.

"But if we'll meet the old gang... How would the game know what weaponry and djinn's they traveled with?". Pretty easy! When you start a new game, you can choose to transfer 'old' data (from Golden Sun 1) via linkcable or through a password. "Password?"...

For those who don't have 2 GBA's (or a GBA and a GBA SP), Camelot invented the secret password. If you've finished Golden Sun, you can access the secret password this way:

turn on the GBA with Golden Sun 1 in it.
advance to the menu where you can choose between 'continue', 'new game', 'battle' and 'erase'.
hold R and left and press B
choose the new option: 'send'
choose your clear-data
choose password
choose the appropriate level:
- gold - level, djinn, character stats, items and coins (about 6 pages)
- silver - level, djinn and character stats (about 2 pages)
- bronze - level and djinn (less then 1 page)
write down the password and start entering it in Golden Sun 2!

If you do have 2 GBA's and a linkcable, I suggest you use the link-option instead. On the unit with Golden Sun 1 in it, just follow the same instructions, but choose 'link' instead of 'password' (step 6). On the unit playing Golden Sun 2, the question will be asked when you start a new game (or, when you choose 'update' for a existing game).

We will have to wait for Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age a bit more, but it'll be here sooner than you might think!
