New Zelda for 3DS not Majora's Mask
An interview with Eiji Aonuma pointed out we're facing a new Zelda title for Nintendo 3DS, and it won't be a remake of Majora's Mask.
Portuguese gaming site MyGames had a short interview with Nintendo's own Eiji Aonuma, producer of the Zelda-series. According to them, Aonuma has started a new Zelda project for Nintendo 3DS that won't be a remake nor a direct sequel to any of the previous games. This means we won't see Majora's Mask on 3DS immediately, as many expected after the remake of Ocarina of Time.
Aonuma did mention Majora's Mask though: he and Shigeru Miyamoto talked about the idea, but they decided that 2 remakes in a row wouldn't be the best path to follow. Majora's Mask is still facing a possible release on Nintendo 3DS, but we'll first have to wait for the completely new title to be released on the platform.
No further details on the new project have been released yet, but as usual we'll try to keep you informed if anything on that matter changes.
