Wacky Wheels with DreamWorks' characters

Last month, we accidentally slipped one: Activision annoucned DreamWorks Super Star Kartz for Nintendo DS, 3DS and Wii. We're sorry, but better late than never...

Activision Publishing has announced that DreamWorks Super Star Kartz will be available this holiday season for Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS system, Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. DreamWorks Super Star Kartz brings together a compilation of everyone's favorite DreamWorks Animation characters and locations as they compete in some of the zaniest racing challenges ever.

"We've brought together 14 of the most beloved characters from Shrek, Madagascar, How To Train Your Dragon and Monsters Vs. Aliens into one thrilling new kart racing game," said David Oxford, Activision Publishing. "For the first time ever, we're giving fans a super star lineup of some of DreamWorks Animation's most famous characters!"

In the game, players race as their favorite DreamWorks Animation characters as they speed, jump, power-up and boost through wacky, wild and wondrous kart courses and compete to be the first to cross the finish line. Amazing stunts, awesome tricks and unique weaponry lets players outrace and outwit their opponents all while enjoying hilarious commentary by King Julien, the game's announcer. Racers can put the pedal to the metal with multiple game modes including Battle, Circuit and Time Trial. Friends are invited to compete with up to 4 player split screen capabilities on consoles.
