3DS Deep Silver Bringing Cartoon Network on 3DS to Europe

Publisher Deep Silver and developer Papaya Studios have today announced a licensing deal that'll bring Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion on the 3DS to Europe later this year.

Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, and Californian developer Papaya Studio today announced that they have concluded a publishing agreement, according to which Deep Silver will release the action adventure Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion for Nintendo 3DS in Europe.

Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion will feature a large cast of popular characters from Cartoon Network's original program. Developed by Papaya Studios, it is the network's first-ever all-star brawler and is set to make its debut in Europe on Nintendo 3DS this autumn. Players will be able to choose from a variety of characters from eleven of Cartoon Network's favourite shows including Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, The PowerPuff Girls, Samurai Jack and many more.

"A great range of Cartoon Network's most popular characters are featured in our exciting action adventure game," said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media. "We really look forward to cooperating with Papaya Studio to release Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion as Deep Silver's very first title for Nintendo 3DS."

While no release date was given for the game in Europe, Deep Silver have stated that further information will be released soon in that regard.
