Nintendo 3DS Firmware Update Released

Nintendo has released a surprise update today for the 3DS which fixes various bugs and improves the user experience.

One of the major bugs fixed, was the reported power button issue which sometimes it didn't want to work like users expected. That has now been resolved, and other fixes have been patched up. Nintendo has also used this update to try and track down on a few pirating technique exploits as well.

It is reported that the update is a manual update, and will not come through the automatic update service Nintendo has implemented on the 3DS.
