Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Announced

Square Enix has announced a brand new Final Fantasy title. The game will be releasing on the Nintendo 3DS.

However this Final Fantasy isn't what you would expect, with the new game set to be a "Theatre Rhythm Action" game. The game still has dungeons and towns, as well as battles but these are now in the form if theatre scenes and played in a rhythmic style.

The game will feature a wide range of characters from the series, in a "chibi" form.

The title will also include a story, with the game featuring classic Final Fantasy characters on a quest to return light to the crystal.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy at this stage doesn't have a final release date.

  The World Ends With You was an original concept from Square Enix. It's not that they don't have the capacity to come up with new concepts, it's just that they don't want to by the looks of things. As for this, didn't look too hot from the images I saw but I'll hold final judgment until I can see it running.

  I don't think I mentioned it in the post, but the game is been developed by Jupiter who are the team who did TWEWY. So it should be a solid experience, with what they have to work with.
