3DS Television Service in Japan

Nintendo has partnered with Fuji Television and Nippon Television in Japan to bring downloadable TV programs to the 3DS. The service is named "Itsu no Ma ni Terebi" in Japan.

The service uses the Spot Pass Feature to download 3D video to the 3DS. The content is produced by both Fuji and Nippon, as original content for the 3DS. The content is available for free, advertisements will run through the videos.

The current schedule for the service includes an animal program, a train program, a program about girls Sumo Wrestling, as well as a general information program which are all delivered daily. The service also has week day programing about sport and weekday only programing for sculpture enthusiasts.

Nintendo hasn't announced an English name for the service or if it will be available outside of Japan.
