3DS Nintendo eShop update date revealed

Coming out of the range of retail, developer and shareholder conferences Nintendo has been holding this month comes news about the highly anticipated 3DS update.

The good news it is still coming. However the original target for a May update is to far fetched for Nintendo. So the company has decided to send out the update next month instead.

The exact date is the 7th of June. Which for those who are fans of the massive Electronic Entertainment Expo which is held around then would know that it ties in with the first day of E3. Which is usually when Nintendo performs there conference.

No doubt soon the Internet will be filled with rumors of a possible reason for this new date. However lets not get to crazy yet. It is unknown if this date is for Worldwide or just Japan. However is most likely isn't the latter.

Update: The American date is the 6th of June. It will be launching in the afternoon.

  • Not enough contents from third party or very simply they are using eShop to kick off E3 like Apple does best.
