Sixth Layton underway, platform unknown

According to our colleagues over at Andriasang, Level-5 is working on the sixth installment of the Professor Layton series.

According to our colleagues from Andriasang, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has revealed through his Twitter account that the company has sold over one million copies of Professor Layton and the Curious Village in Japan. To celebrate, the CEO also mentioned a sixth game from the series being in the works without revealing the platform(s) for that title.

  Yeah most likely its a 3DS title. Level 5 has many titles they are working on the system which we learned from their last conference, I guess next time the Level 5 thing is on- we will have the 20+ games they said they had in developoment be announced.

  While 3D puzzles would be great, however Level 5 has been slowly moving toward PS3 ever since they struck their millions.
