Plants vs. Zombies Dated

Mastertronic have finally dated PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies, which will be released in the UK on 6th May 2011. This runaway success from PopCap Games, the worldwide leader in casual video games has been successfully released across multiple platforms.

Mastertronic's Product Director Neil McKenna said: "Plants vs. Zombies is the fastest-selling iPhone/iPod strategy game of all time, selling 300,000 copies in the first nine days it was available on the App store. In Plants vs. Zombies a mob of brain-hungry zombies is unleashed on your home and your only defence is an arsenal of zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and more to destroy zombies before they reach your front door.

With five different game modes to choose from, there's hours of entertaining gameplay available. A cross-platform hit, the Xbox Live version of Plants vs. Zombies currently has a review average of 89/100 on Metacritic.
