Nintendo of Australia reveals 3DS first party launch line up
Nintendo of Australia has revealed what it will be publishing day one onto the 3DS.
Like all regions, Nintendo of Australia will be releasing the three versions of Nintendogs + Cats. However, it will not be pushing either Steel Diver or Pilotwings as a launch title, instead with those titles been pushed further into the launch window. With the date for those two games been revealed "at a later date".
Nintendo of Australia will also be publishing Street Fighter IV 3D. Both Street Fighter and Nintendogs + Cats, will launch at the recommended retail price of $69.95. Which is the same price as titles for the original Nintendo DS system.
Nintendo didn't announce any titles which third parties will be releasing on launch day today. However it is expected Australia will get titles such as; Super Monkey Ball 3D, Ridge Racer 3D, Rayman 3D, Rabbids 3D, Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, The Sims 3, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D, Asphalt 3D, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D.
We expect Nintendo of Australia to issue a press release closer to launch with those titles.
It is unknown why Pilotwings Resort or Steel Diver isn't coming out at launch. With Pilotwings been a confirmed title for Europe, its a mystery why it will not be coming out in that period. This decision might leave some gamers plans for launch completely ruined.
