There's a big chance you'll be able to get free games for the GBA soon. There's even a small chance you'll be able to make your own games! All this, and MP3 playback support, using the JAMiD cartridge...

Quote: The JAMiD JAM-ID100C cartridge will turn your Nintendo? Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP system into a jammin' Java interactive gaming machine capable of playing all those free Java games popping up all over the Internet. Based on Sun Microsystem's J2ME Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP), the JAMiD accelerated Java platform will run MIDP 1.0/2.0 games and other multimedia MIDlets. The JAMiD cartridge also has a built-in MP3 player so you can download and listen to your favorite music while you enjoy playing accelerated MIDP games. Translation: using our cartridge, you can download free games (comparable with the java-games for mobile phones) and play them on your GBA (SP).

Simply download the games using your PC, plug your JAMiD cart into your GBA, connect the whole to your PC (using standard USB) and start filling the cart with games and/or music.

Sounds great huh? Unfortunately, the JAMiD isn't available for consumers yet. A developers kit is available, but the consumer-version will come! For now, we'll just have to wait. But for your patience, here's the first image of the JAMiD in action:
