ALL Skyward Sword released after Ocarina of Time 3DS

Mr Iwata from Nintendo's headquarters in Japan has confirmed that The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii is in the final stages of development but also that the game won't be released before The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time for Nintendo 3DS.

Last week, Reggie Fils-Aime from Nintendo of America already confirmed that Ocarina Of Time for 3DS won't be released until early June. Iwata however confirmed at an investors meeting that the WIi's upcoming Zelda title won't hit the shelves before that.

"One of the Wii titles scheduled to be launched this year is, as you know, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword," said Iwata. "Last year was the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. This year marks the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. (...) Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo told me that he had a strong feeling that the new play control realised by Wii MotionPlus, which is now integrated into our Wii Remote as Wii Remote Plus, could significantly expand the comfort of the game play, especially when used in games like The Legend of Zelda."

Iwata added: "His team is now entering into the final completion stage of the game. Talking about The Legend of Zelda franchise, what people called a masterpiece in the days of Nintendo 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been in the process of being remade for Nintendo 3DS, and this Nintendo 3DS version is expected to hit the market earlier."
