Rumour - European 3DS Launch Lineup Revealed?
One piece of information missing from yesterday's European 3DS event, besides the price, was the launch lineup. While Nintendo neglected to mention it, stores are now listing games which look set for release alongside the console.
While Nintendo of Europe neglected to reveal the lineup of games which will accompany the launch of the 3DS on March 25th, simply stating that this information would be made available when all parties had finalised their games, UK high street game retailer Gamestation has listed a potential list of 10 games which could be making up the 3DS launch lineup in the UK, and potentially across Europe.
For those unable to read, the photo, taken at a Gamestation store earlier today by yours truly, lists 10 titles which will be available when the console releases in late March, those being:
- Nintendogs + Cats
- Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
- Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- Super Monkey Ball 3D
- Rayman 3D
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D
- Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
- Asphalt 3D
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
Obviously, many of these titles are already listed for release in North America at launch and so will rightly make the launch in Europe. However, there are some noticeable omissions, such as Pilotwings Resort, Steel Diver, Ridge Racer 3D, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.
As such, for the time being, this potential launch lineup is merely rumour. Nintendo will officially announce the launch lineup in the coming weeks but for now, this potential lineup should certainly give some food for thought.

Nintendo did say it- I don't know who- but it has been confermed that so far all games will be region locked.
Since Nintendo has yet to officially said all of the games will be region locked, I still have my hope on importing One Piece for my launch title.
I'm thinking we will see much more titles at launch then whats been reported for either region.
