3DS Nintendo 3DS Sound App supports MP3 as well as SDHC

Nintendo has revealed during the New York Conference that the 3DS will support MP3 and AAC audio files through the pre-installed Sound Application.

The sound application allows users to browse tracks, listen to music, and manipulate audio. Previously the Nintendo Wii also had MP3 support- but was taken out in favor for AAC. The 3DS will support both file formats.

The 3DS will also support SDHC cards. Which means you will be able to store up to 32GB worth of external files.
