New information about the 3DS eShop

Nintendo has revealed that you will be able to transfer from other Nintendo hardware to your Nintendo 3DS as well as changing the payment methods of the shop.

Nintendo has revealed a new function for the 3DS eShop. Called System Transfer you can transfer games on the Nintendo DSi Shop from your DSi or DSi XL to your 3DS. It also possible to transfer between 3DS systems.

There is however a limit on transfers, its unknown if this is per system or per day or what the go is. There will also be some titles which can not be transferred to the 3DS.

In other news Nintendo has revealed they are gone away with the Point system, in stead the eShop will be based around "Cash", with users able to input credit cards or other payment options into the system to buy goods. As well as buy "cash cards" from retail outlets.
