3DS Uses Single Friend Code

A major issue with Nintendo's previous online setup was the numerous Friend Codes needed to play friends in different games, but now, Nintendo have resolved that very issue.

Unlike the current DS or Wii, the Nintendo 3DS will utilise a single console specific Friend Code as opposed to multiple Friend Codes, allowing you to keep a single friends list and see what games your friends are playing. You'll also be able to join friends in the games they're playing easier than before, making the online experience not only more robust but more accessible for people looking to game with their friends.

This is a fantastic move from Nintendo and will no doubt please many who have wished for a console specific Friend Code for years now.
