Urbanix Released for WiiWare
It's looking like a good start to 2011 for Wii owners and Nordcurrent have announced that Urbanix is now available to download on WiiWare for 500 Wii Points.
"There were so many hit arcade games in the 80s that haven't been remade for modern consoles and handhelds. We felt that we needed to do something to fill this gap", said Victoria Trofimova, Director at Nordcurrent. "Urbanix combines the best gameplay elements of old arcade hits with modern graphics and sound. What we got in the end is a pure good-looking fun!"
Also, starting from the release date, customers are welcome to download the Demo version of the game on Wii Shop free of charge.
Urbanix is an enhanced version of decades-old arcade hits. Player controls a tiny little tractor that has to build a town on an empty field in a given time, while avoiding the enemies. Players are welcome to complete 150 levels from 3 locations, with different gameplay mechanics and visuals. With such a variety, there will be hours and hours of faced-paced pure arcade fun! .
