SEGA reconfirms Super Monkey Ball 3DS as launch title
SEGA has reconfirmed Super Monkey Ball 3DS as a lanch title in the latest Game Informer. Also touching on other 3DS games as well.
Alan Pritchard from SEGA has commented to Game Informer about the 3DS. Stating that "The 3DS was great. I don't know anyone who went to E3 that wasn't excited about it". Clearly showing that its not just Nintendo who is excited for the upcoming handheld.
Alan Pritchard went on to reconfirm Super Monkey Ball 3DS as a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS. In the spirit of things, Alan also dropped hints on other 3DS projects stating that SEGA has "a number of 3DS titles in our line-up for next financial and calender year". Also mentioning that "four or five" of those are existing franchises. With one or two been much older SEGA IPs.
Alan Pritchard also commented about the companies plans to release new IPs on the console within the year as well. Stating that they are "looking at one or two new IPs as well", for the 3DS.
