Space Ace Leaps onto DSiWare

Digital Leisure Inc. have announced that Space Ace is making it's way to the DSiWare Service. The follow up to Dragon's Lair, the groundbreaking arcade game, has been designed exclusively for Nintendo's handheld platform.

Space Ace is a fully animated classic arcade game from legendary animator Don Bluth. In this completely arcade authentic adventure, you'll journey to rescue the beautiful Kimberly by using your Nintendo DSi to move and fire your lasergun. This is the first time the stunning 2D animation has been seen on a Nintendo handheld format - No pixel graphics here!

In Space Ace you play the heroic Ace who must stop the evil Commander Borf from taking over the Earth! Borf plans to reduce all of humankind to infants and take over the planet. Only two people have the courage and strength to stop Borf and save Earth: the beautiful Kimberly and the heroic Ace. But as they approach Borf's stronghold, Ace is hit by the Infanto Ray, changing him into a child, and Kimberly is kidnapped by the evil madman! The fate of Earth is in your hands!

Space Ace is available today in North America on DSiWare for 800 Nintendo DSi Points. There's no word yet on the European release date but as soon as we have more news, we'll let you know.
