World of Goo 2 a Possibility

As part of 2D Boys announcement about bringing World of Goo to the iPad, the developer answered the question we have all been wanting an answer to- is a sequel a possibility?

"A second World of Goo is a possibility, and something we would enjoy working on. A second World of Goo will need to feel like a perfect and appropriate continuation of the first game. No Red Bull Can levels or rapping Goo cutscenes, according to our official design doc."

  If I remember correctly didn't Kyle Gabler go and open a new company with a few other people recently? I can see 2D Boy as been a brand name for World of Goo haahaa.

  I know I'm not the only one who wouldn't say no to a World of Goo sequel. Absolutely fantastic game. Arguably the best WiiWare title and definitely one of the Wii's best games overall. Still go back to it every now and then as I just love the game to bits. I do think, however, that they'll develop something entirely new than going for a sequel which I'm happy enough with. Excited to see what 2D Boy does next regardless of what it is.
