No Online Play For NBA JAM

Those hoping that NBA Jam's return to the Wii would bring with it online play will want to look away now as EA have confirmed there won't be any.

In a post via Twitter, Alain Quinto, the Community Manager for EA Sports, confirmed that the Wii version of the forthcoming NBA Jam will not include any form of online play, rather only offline multiplayer.

It's a disappointing announcement considering EA's Nation online setup has been included in every one of their last sports games on the console and comes weeks after the game lost it's exclusivity on the console. Wii gamers can at least take solace in the fact that they'll be receiving the full version, with all modes available for play, when the game launches later this year at retail.
