WII Gaijin Games Unveils Next BIT.TRIP Title

After weeks of teasing, independent developer Gaijin Games have unveiled the fifth and penultimate title in the BIT.TRIP series of games.

After trying their hands at the puzzle, platforming and action genres, Gaijin Games are back with the fifth instalment of the hugely successful BIT.TRIP, this time titles BIT.TRIP FATE, and sees CommanderVideo take to the shooter genre with a very literal take on on-rail shooters. The first trailer for the game can be seen below.

This time around, the game will employ a control scheme close to that seen in Sin and Punishment 2, with the Nunchuk controlling CommanderVideo on a set line while the Wii-mote is used for aiming and shooting. The game will retain the same visual and audio style seen in previous games and will see cameo appearances from Meat Boy and Mr. Robotube.

No release date has been given as of yet. Stay tuned to DS-x2 for news on a release date as it becomes available.
