The World Ends With You Sequel a possibility

Tetsuya Nomura one of the lead designers on the original The World Ends With You, raises the possibility of a sequel.

Tetsuya Nomura recently spoke to Nintendo Power, an American Video Game Magazine for Nintendo. Revealing that while he is busy on other titles at this time, a sequel for the cult classic The World Ends With You is a possibility.

"I'm really happy that the game was so well received in North America. I definitely want to make a sequel. I'm very busy working on other titles right now, but when the time is right, I would love to make another instalment of The World Ends with You." - Tetsuya Nomura

While its unknown the true sales numbers of the original title, it developed a cult following as one of the best Nintendo DS titles around. While no possible console was revealed, the game could see itself one day on the consoles successor- the 3DS.
