High Voltage Layoffs
The developer High Voltage known mostly for their Nintendo Wii FPS The Conduit, is having some tough times, it is been revealed they have dropped a number of employees from their staff.
High Voltage has laid off a total of 25 employees.
"I can confirm that High Voltage Software has reduced some of our staffing based on our current production requirements and predictions of what is needed for the remainder of 2010," a studio representative said.
"We are sad to have to say goodbye to these employees and friends, but these changes are necessary to bring our organization to a healthy operational size."
It is unknown if this change will affect their current titles in progress. High Voltage has numerous titles been developed including The Conduit 2 and The Grinder. The Grinder had recently become a multiplatform title.

I love The Conduit, it is a very standard FPS. However their Gladiator A.D. game is must horrible.
I hated the Conduit, so flawed and also I hate to use the word clone- but essencially a "Halo" Clone, meaning it takes all the crap Halo "revolutionised" and makes it into a game. I was kind of interested in The Grinder, but I think the Console version is better then the Wii one. Top down shooter like Alien Swarm.
