NDS Hotel Dusk sequel Last Window set for UK release

It looks like Last Window the final title from now defunct Japanese developer CiNG might be heading to the UK after all. With Nintendo of Europe adding it to their Q3 line up.

The Japanese title of Last Window: Midnight Promise will be no more, as its been replaced with a more western friendly sounding title of: Last Window: The Secret Of Cape West.

The mystery might have changed, but most of the characters will be there as you play as Kyle Hyde the protagonist from Hotel Dusk who in Last Window is trying to find who killed is father.

Kyle has run into some trouble as well, with the game kicking off with Kyle been sacked from his job at Red Crown as well as been up for eviction at his flat if he doesn't cough up some dough.

Nintendo has penciled in a quick and sturdy release date for a 17 September 2010 kick off in the UK. With the track record of localisations of CiNG titles its possible it might not be localized in America or Australia.

  • Ah, you got there before me. Good thing I checked here first otherwise I'd have posted a duplicate news story :P. But fantastic news to see it get a release date. Big fan of Cing's games and it is a disappointment they're now bankrupt but just glad Nintendo are bringing this over.

  • Yeah I posted the releases again while you had it up so I removed mine (yours was way better edited then mine anyway!). Yeah its a shame they are bankrupt- but at least now with Last Window having an English release (I don't care if it gets one english release or a hundred, I'll import it regardless) and I'm excited to play their final game. Again was great even though it was lacking solid puzzles, and it shows they can make a pretty good story. Little King Story is one of my favorites from them- but when it comes down to the end the day, Another Code and Hotel Dusk series get the highest attention from me, and as a former CiNG fansite owner- I antispate great things from this release.
