NDS Pokémon Black & White - Video Chat & Other New Features Confirmed

Pokon Black & White are set to really shake up the world of Pokon with features such as 3-on-3 battles, head inside to see what other features have been revealed in this months CoroCoro!

Video Chat (DSi & DSi XL only) - allows 4 players locally to video chat and 2 players over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, provided the players have exchanged friend codes.

High Link - a feature where you can help out other players who are in trouble when they take on certain missions (similair to that of the Pokon Mystery Dungeon games).

Passing By - allows the DS to connect with other nearby players automatically, as you advance in the game you can help them on their journey.

3-on-3 Battles - depending on the placement of your Pokon in battle, the way attacks hit opponents change so another layer of strategy is involved in the positioning of your Pokon!

  • The video chat apparently extends to use on the 3DS as well. Interesting to say the least, and the fact there are version specific areas to differentiate is a nice touch. But I'm really not digging any of the new Pokemon designs.

  • I like the white legendary better, as in the white monster (remember white has the black guy and visa versa :/) it just seems better designed, the black one is like a rock object thing- very uninspired. Also with the different regions in different games, that just ticks me off- yes its a nice touch- and if I was a kid still I'd love it- but as an adult I don't give rats ass about two titles- I want one solid release, which is why I'll wait for Pokemon Gray
