Rayman Origins - 3DS bound?

In the Rayman Origin's blog, it has been revealed that other platforms such as the iPad and 3DS are being considered to sport the rebirth of one of gamings legendary characters.

  The Wii is also one of those platforms being considered as the game, as of this moment, is HD only. Sucks that that is the case but I reckon they could pull the 2D visuals off if they wanted to. They only need to look at Muramasa or A Boy And His Blob to see how well done 2D visuals can be done on the Wii.
