Bandai has announced they'll limit production of the GBA SP's competitor, the SwanCrystal. They'll now focus on the GBA...

Since the SwanCrystal didn't sell very well the last few months (between 800 and 1000 units/week), Bandai decided to stop mass production of the device. They will keep producting it, but only in small (requested!) amounts. Bandai also cancelled all plans for developing a successor for the SwanCrystal.

Bandai will still support the Swan by producting software for it, but it'll also begin to focus on the GBA handheld: their first game is already announced and scheduled for fall 2003 in Japan (no details or title known).

Only one more thing left to say: WELCOME BANDAI!
