ALL Shawn Johnson Gymnastics for DS(iWare) and Wii

We've seen fitnes, we've seen yoga, now we'll see gymnastics with Shawn Johnson Gymnastics on Wii, Nintendo DS and DSiWare.

Zoo Publishing is set to release Shawn Johnson Gymnastics, the first game on Nintendo Wii dedicated to gymnastics - the game will also be released on DS and DSiWare. Compatible with the Wii Balance Board, the game will offer a truly realistic experience in the following gymnastics events: floor exercise, vault, balance beam and uneven parallel bars. Shawn Johnson Gymnastics is set to hit stores this October.

Shawn has worked closely with Zoo Games to provide incredibly realistic game play. By incorporating her gymnastics skills, consumers will be able to create an authentic gymnastics experience right from their very own living room. "Shawn is one of the most decorated and gifted athletes in the world, and bringing her skill and knowledge of the sport to this title sets a new level of realism for video games," said Mark Seremet, CEO of Zoo Games. "We are very fortunate to work with someone who is as dedicated to her craft as we are to ours, and the end result will reflect that dedication when the game hits store shelves this fall."

Medaling in both gold and silver in Beijing at the 2008 Olympics, as well as receiving an ESPY and the prestigious James E. Sullivan award, Shawn Johnson is nothing short of an icon in the sport of gymnastics. In addition to her athletic achievements, she is a role model to girls around the world. "To work with an athlete of Shawn's magnitude is an honor, and the fact that she remains humble through it all is a testament to her character," said Seremet. "In addition to her obvious athletic contribution to the game, it is just as much her persona as it is her talent that will make this title extraordinarily fun and enjoyable for the whole family."

Shawn Johnson Gymnastics is slated for an October 2010 retail release on Nintendo Wii and DS.
