WII EA Sports Active 2 - New info and trailer

EA have revealed new information and a new trailer for their up and coming fitness game, EA Sports Active 2, for the Nintendo Wii.

Continuing their efforts from the first game, EA have announced that EA Sports Active 2 will feature an entirely new and innovative wireless control setup combining the Wii-mote and new motion sensors which can be strapped to your arms and legs and allows the game to fully track the bodies movements and allow for a more rigorous and effective exercise regime. Similarly, the new game will also ship with a heartbeat monitor allowing players to track their heartbeat throughout exercises and optimise their performance during exercises.

Also new this time around is the ability to track and share your workout data online, with the game automatically uploading your workout data at the end of each exercise to your EA Sports Active profile online. This data can be shared between friends and groups and allows you to chart your progress and adjust your workout to get the most out of the exercises you'll be undertaking.

With 70+ new exercises and activities, a new 9 week fitness program and a built in personal trainer, EA Sports Active 2 looks to be providing of new options for those looking to stay in, or get in, shape. You can see for yourselves whether the game is the ultimate fitness title when the game hits store shelves on November 19th.
