NDS Kingdom Hearts for Nintendo DS

No more wondering anymore about what platform the new Kingdom Hearts will be on. Square Enix has teased all the good stuff about the title for you.

The North American Square Enix subsidiary has revealed some information about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. Which will be shown at E3 2010.

The title is been developed by h.a.n.d. Inc. and Square Enix, and will be released only for the Nintendo DS system. It will also be an Action RPG like most of the titles in the series already.

When Jiminy Cricket looks over the journal he wrote his first adventure in, he finds a mysterious message. Of course he and his pals didn't write it- or know about it. So they are off on another adventure as King Mickey is determined to find out by digitizing the journal to go into its deep mysterious.

It's also been suggested by fans that because of the naming conventions in the series that Re:Coded is a remake of the Coded sub series, which was on Mobile Phones in Japan.

  • Guessing this'll use the same engine as that used in 358/2 Days, which is great because I'd say that game was the best looking on the DS 3D wise. But more KH is good in my eyes. Love the series. And it's nice to get more of the story while having to go through the prolonged wait for KH3.

  • Sounds like it. Kingdom Heart's gameplay have been the same since the original. I lost interest in Kingdom Heart after the first game.
