Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters Gets the DS Treatment

It appears that our US readers are about to be invaded as Nintendo take on the hamster craze that took the 2009 Christmas toy market by storm.

Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters (previously known as GoGo Hamsters) sold over one million pets and accessories over the Christmas period. Now those little hamsters are about to do the same to the video games market.

The Hamster action really comes to life on the new video game for Nintendo DS and will be exclusively sold from Toys R Us, arriving in all 75 stores.

Hamster fans buying the Zhu Zhu Pets videogame will also get a Zhu Zhu pet hamster FREE for the first week with a choice of 8 toy hamsters to choose from including Mr Squiggles, Chunk and Num Nums.

This latest Nintendo DS game allows players to play as their favourite Zhu Zhu hamster and explore the exciting hamster city. Hamsters can drive around in little cars, play on skateboards or run in hamster wheels, they can explore the slide park, skate park, nursery, bathrooms and travel down secret passageways to seek upgrades.

The Zhu Zhu Pets game with a FREE Zhu Zhu Hamster is packed with 30 different levels and upgrades to achieve a full fun game suitable for most ages.
