NDS Casual games mania with Casual Games for DS

If you're a fan of the so-called casual games, Foreign Media Games has a surprise for you: Casual Mania for Nintendo DS.

Casual Mania crams in four of the most successful web-based game designs into one DS cartridge, allowing casual fans to play their favourite games anywhere they chose - not just on their home computers. Brought together in a unique Parisian style, Casual Mania combines Hidden Object, Marble Popper, Match-3 and Time Management game types, while setting the player the ultimate goal of completing picture jigsaw postcards of the French capital.

Game genres include:

  • Hidden Object - Against the clock, players must uncover treasures hidden beneath The Louvre, Paris's most famous art gallery. Includes one hundred items and twelve unique locations, plus three additional mini-games designed to rest the eyes between frantic scouring sessions.
  • Match-3 - Progress by matching tiles representing famous landmarks and instantly recognisable elements of Paris, the city of light.
  • Marble Popper - This classic marble-popping game section provides hours of progressive play.
  • Time Management - Players are tasked with managing a bustling Hair Salon with three separate game modes ensuring hours of enjoyment.

FMG Managing Director, Michel van Elmpt comments, "Online casual gaming sites have been converting users from non-traditional gaming demographics for years now and I continue to be amazed by how many hours these recent converts spend chained to their PCs. Casual Mania brings the best of online gaming to the world's most popular handheld gaming console and frees the casual gamer to play anywhere they chose."

Casual Mania for Nintendo DS will be released on 1st April 2010.
