Nintendo Japan trademarks 'Zii'

Nintendo Japan has filed a trademark for something called the 'Zii' to go a long with their other 'ii' sounding 'Wii' typos. Could this be a sequel to the Wii?

First spotted by Siliconera, it is established that if the 'Zii' is anything more than a protective trademark, Nintendo will run into problems as Creative already own the trademark for Zii in Europe and the US. We'll bring you more news on this as it comes.

  Nintendo of Japan has other "ii" trade marks, such as "Bii, Oii etc." this is probably just to cover there ass so people can't make cheap wiis with names like "vii".
