Just when you thought Nintendo had done all they could with the Wii Fit, get ready to burn even more calories with Wii Fit Plus, hitting you local gaming outlet tomorrow.

Wii Fit Plus brings new exercise features for both mind and body to the acclaimed Wii Fit phenomenon. In addition to all the original Wii Fit features, Wii Fit Plus now brings you a lot more new content, including 15 new balance games and six new strength training and yoga activities meaning you can, work out, relax and ease away the stresses of daily life.

You can now also customise your fitness routines to make your at-home training regime even easier and there's even a calorie counter which makes reaching your targets more measureable. By choosing the new 'My Routines' option you can tailor your own yoga routines and strength-training exercises to create a continuous exercise plan to suit your individual fitness goals. This menu allows you to combine and tailor up to 30 exercises for up to 60 minutes workout, to suit your exercise regime. Another option now available is the 'Wii Fit Plus Routines' which enables you to create a tailored routine from a selection of pre-programmed routines. Each 'set' of routines are created to target a specific fitness goal for body and mind. For example, The Lifestyle routine gives you exercise combinations to help train muscles and boost flexibility and even warms your hands and feet to ease tension. 'Health' routines can work your tummy and fat burn. 'Youth' routines help you train your mind and to keep your body supple. You can also isolate specific areas of the body for toning or conditioning purposes or simply to relieve fatigue or improve posture. In addition to the weight and BMI tracking content found in the original Wii Fit, a new built in calorie counter now makes your daily progress easier to track. It estimates the amount of oxygen used by your body during physical activity and so estimates your calories burned on each activity during gameplay. Wii Fit Plus for example can estimate that a person with a 70kg body weight enjoying the balance game Hula Hoop for half an hour is the equivalent to burning 140kcal. You can now even set yourself calorie goals by selecting the food or drink item that you will attempt to 'burn-off' during the session. Wii Fit Plus introduces 15 new fun and unique balance games which are sure to get the whole family together! Get in a flap with Bird's Eye Bull's Eye, which tests your upper body strength and balance as you steer your chicken character to your target! Attempt the virtual Obstacle Course which challenges your agility and timing or even challenge your friends to a Snowball Fight, as fitness and fun collide in your living room. Wii Fit Plus also includes a Multiplayer mode that enables up to eight people to compete against each other in a selection of Balance Games. Aim for the top of the leader board as you have fun testing your skill, will and competitive character together! For Wii Fit fans, the game is available as a single disc and for those new to the game it is also available packaged with the Wii Balance Board; which contains sensors that measure and detect shifts in weight both from side to side and front to back. Follow along to the movements and control the on-screen action by standing on the board during activities. Each sensor has the ability to detect even minor motion, so movements like shifting the position of your hand can be detected. And with the addition of activities like Perfect Ten and Rhythm Kung Fu, players can use the Wii Balance Board accessory in a variety of new and fun ways.
