DS-x2.com Needs Staff!
Wanted: people interested in the Nintendo scene and willing to share their findings. Are you up to the challenge?
You may have noticed that the current DS-x2.com is a mere fragment of what it once was. People come and go, but DS-x2.com remains (and to be exact: there's a whole new Nintendo-x2.com to be discovered soon). Hence we're always looking for new flesh to strengthen our team. At the moment we're looking for multiple individuals willing to join the DS-x2.com staff.
What are we looking for?
Newsposters for DS-x2.com Newsposters at DS-x2.com need to be updated on the Wii and/or Nintendo DS scene by themselves. Regularly, preferably on a daily basis, you can find the time to write a decent newsarticle based on the latest happenings and announcements. Of course news also comes with images. Screenshots, photographs and more. For this reason you also need to be able to edit images. Can you handle a graphical application (e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, Gimp) to perform simple operations such as resizing or cropping an image?
Requirements:
- You must be at least 15 years of age (ideally over 18) and master the English language.
- You must be proficient in grammar and spelling and demonstrate an excellent writing style.
- You must have enough spare time to be able to perform the job.
- Prior writing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Is this just a fling, or do I really want to join the site and keep working on it for a decent time?
- Can I actually bring in content, or did I always find all my daily news right here?
- Do I write decent English, or can I only write in txtspk, l33t or EvEn WorSeOMGWTF?
- Would I be interested even if I would not get paid?
- Can I fill in a basic contact-form?
If your answers to the above were "yes", please drop us a line at through our contact-forms or send us an email on dennis@ds-x2.com. If possible, supply a sample article on any Nintendo-related topic you prefer with your application.
