Reggie ignites new fanwar
A new war between Nintendo and Sony fans is at dawn, as Reggie Fils-Aime told the Washington Post what he thinks of the new PSPgo...
On October 1, Sony released the PSPgo. Slick and stylish with a neat new sliding screen and a trimmed-down, pocket-sized chassis, PSPgo still finds room to pack in some 16GB of built-in memory. According to its manufacturer, it puts you in control, with the space to download and store your choice of entertainment from games to videos to photos.
Now here's where things go wrong: Reggie took a look at the PSPgo himself and claims a fundamental concept problem in terms of 'Who's it for?' and 'What's the benefit?'. Even though Reggie added "I have the utmost respect for all our competitors, but it's interesting to try and answer the consumer question of 'What's in it for me?' in that product," these questions are exactly what Sony fanatics weren't waiting for.
While the Sony fans are stating their unhappiness with the recent statements from the NoA executive over at PlayStation Universe, we ask you: what is your opinion on the PSPgo? Should the same question be asked for Nintendo DSi? Are you ready for a new fanwar?
