New Prince of Persia in the works

A new Prince of Persia title is in the works deep inside Ubisoft's studios. Whether we'll see a Wii or Nintendo DS release remains unknown, but a fair guess...

While Jordan Mechner, the spiritual father of the Prince of Persia-series, registered the trademark "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands", another Ubi-employee, Marc-Antoine Senal (character modeller), claims through his LinkedIn profile that he's been working on a new PoP title since August 2009.

Up to now, Ubisoft has not yet officially responded on the rumours about a new Prince of Persia title. One thing is for sure: The Forgotten Sand will not be a movie tie-in...
