Second Aardman 'Flipnote' Launched Today

Head over to the Flipnote Hatena website to check out the new animation created by Oscar-winning studio, Aardman, using Flipnote Studio on the Nintendo DSi.

"Icy Nicey" is the hilarious second 'flipnote' in a series of 12 being created by Tim Ruffle of Aardman to demonstrate how simple and fun Flipnote Studio, which is available for free from the Nintendo DSi Shop, is to use. The first animation, "The Sandwich Twins" , released last week, reached number one in the Flipnote charts on the Hatena website, with more than 90,000 views and 4,000 downloads already. Aardman, a world leader in animation, produces feature films, television series and television commercials. The studio has won over 400 international awards including 4 Oscars and is best known for its popular Wallace and Gromit characters. The next 10 animations will feature more unusual and fun characters created exclusively by Aardman for this partnership and will be available each week as they are released in the run up to Christmas.
