Internet Channel for Free (again!)
Wii-owners who bought the Wii at the very beginning already had the opportunity to download the Wii Internet Channel (with an updated Flash version)for free. After the beta-period, Wii owners had to pay 500 Wii Points for Opera's browser. Until today, that is...
Nintendo of Europe has announced that the Wii Internet Channel will be freely available once again. Details on how to acquire the Internet Channel will become available through the Wii's message board and on Nintendo's own website.
As a bonus, Nintendo updated the version of Flash in the browser as this was one of the main feature requests by current owners.
Wii-owners who already purchased the Internet Channel for 500 Wii Point will be given a free NES-title on Virtual Console near the end of October.

I really don't care paying $5 for a web browser, it's just that Opera on Wii can't even play Flash 9.0 so I can't use GameTrailers, Hulu, and all my normal visits.
