LostWinds sequel announced

The scoop goes to EDGE magazine this time: Frontier Developments announces the sequel to LostWinds for WiiWare.

Through the latest edition of the British EDGE magazine, Frontier announces the development of LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias for WiiWare, just like the original LostWinds adventure.

Not much details are known yet about the new LostWinds title, except for a few tidbits:

• Tokus can swim
• You'll get to switch between seasons in order to solve new puzzles
• The Tornado-move will have different effects on your environment: break through rock or rise flowing water
• A new help-system will be in place, handing out tips and a complete map of your surroundings

The new WiiWare title is said to become available within 2009.
